Spiral separator Classifier is widely used for classification according to the particle size in the mineral processing flow, and is also applicable for desliming and dehydrating in the mineral washing work. Generally, Classifier forms a closed process flow with ball mill. The classifier has the advantages of simple structure, reliable working, and convenient operation, etc.

Spiral separator Classifier depends on different deposition speed of solid particle due to their size difference and weight difference. Thin mineral particle can float in the water and flow out, and the coarse mineral particle will deposit into the bottom of the cell, which is pushed up by screw and discharged. Classifier is a kind of mechanical classifying equipment. Classifier can filtrate the powdery materials grinded by ball mill, transport the coarse materials into inlet with screw, and discharge the filtrated fine materials through overflow pipe.  

Structure of Spiral separator Classifier

Spiral separator Classifier mainly consists of transmission device, screw, cell, movable lift, lower seat (bush) and discharge valve. The bottom seat adopts V-iron, and the machine frame is welded and connected steel board. The water inlet and axis of the screw axle adopt durable pig iron cover.

Single Spiral separator Classifier is formed by gearing, spiral, cell body and lifting device etc.

 

1. Gearing: The transmission of spiral is achieved by motor through V-belt.

 

2. Spiral: It is the main components of this machine, it formed by the main shaft, frame, spiral blades, lining iron frame. The frame, spiral blades, linked iron are formed to connected spiral surface, because the shaft is constantly rotating, so the role of helical face is mixing the slurry , make fine particles flow from the overflow weir, coarse mineral particles conveyor from the screw first to discharge port.

 

3. Cell: Welded by steel plate and shaped steel, it is the body of Spiral separator Classifier.

 

4. Lifting mechanism: The movement of machine screw parts is achieved through the cycloid reducer, gear, screw. When classifier stop working, the materials in the water chute will precipitated, in order to avoid damage by precipitation and the transmission will occurs over load when it move again, so must lift the screw spindle from water chute and make it leave the precipitation level, for this design lifting mechanism.

 

Characteristic

 

The single Spiral separator Classifier is an up-dated one and it has the following characteristics:

 

(1) Up-dated classifier increases a automatic sand-return device at the sand-return part, lift ore sand that discharged at tank bottom to a proper position at tank wall, to adapt the configuration of ball mill cancelled big spoon head.

 

(2 )When ball mill has cancelled big spoon head, it can usually save electricity 1-1.5 degrees per ton ore, meanwhile, avoid frequent maintenance about big spoon head, and slow down the wear speed of small gear, improve ball mill run speed, save electricity obviously.

 

(3) When ball mill has cancelled big spoon head, it has no effect on specification and grinding ability of classifier.
