The ball loading ratio of  different ball diameter and examples
For the production of ore dressing plant grinding mill with ball approach can be summarized as follows:

(1) take the mill for ore (general respectively taking new feed and return sand, then proportionally sample sieve analysis), divided into several fractions, such as divided into 18 ~ 12, 12 ~ 10, 10 ~ 8, 8 ~ 6, weighing various grain, calculated the grain quality percentage (yield), such as,,......And so on;

(2) with the rank size limit (such as 18, 12, 10, 8......Etc) or upper, lower average (such as 15, 11, 9, 7......Refer to table 18), or using the formula to determine the particle size to the diameter of the ball, such as,......

(3) according to various sizes of ball grinding quality ratio and particle size composition to the principle, determine the various sizes of ball for ball total mass percentage, corresponding to ’D18= 1812、 ’D12= 1210、 ’D10= 10-8、  ’D8= 8-6……"

(4) the calculation results by proper adjustment.Due to the actual match ball, small ball not into, just select several balls, thus calculated from a small diameter ball, can be allocated in proportion to the larger ball, to determine the levels of ball quality percentage， D18D12D10……

(5) calculation of actual quality at all levels of the ball, as follows:

① according to the formula to calculate the total Weight of ball G：
G——The weight of ball ，t；
D——Cylinder diameter of ball mill ，m；
L——The ball mill barrel effective length，m；
——Medium filling rate，%；
——The density of ball mill，t/m3
②According to the adjusted levels of ball ratio is calculated from the various ball quality respectivelyGD18=G· D18，GD12=G· D12， GD10=G· D10GD8=G· D8……
[Eg.]A dressing plant of 1500mm×3000mm put the ball of wet grate ball mill ，
Filling rate =50%，Cast steel ball =4.5t/m3，Mill for medium hard ore processing.

4) Calculation of the total mass added to the ballG：

G100=G· 100=11.928×0.45=5.37 (t)

G60=G· 60=11.928×0.12=1.43 (t)
